The Leaders behind Hatley Pointe

Andy is as much a staple on this mountain as the terrain he’s helped mold over the last 30 plus years.

Andy is as much a staple on this mountain as the terrain he’s helped mold over the last 30 plus years. The English family purchased this ski resort in 1992 when Andy was 8 years old, and he has been a cornerstone of its story and development ever since. His expertise spans a range of crucial tasks, from snowmaking and grooming to chairlift repairs and complex infrastructure projects. Andy played a pivotal role in constructing the upper ski lodge and expanding the mountain's offerings to include the backside terrain in the early 2000’s.

Andy finds purpose in shaping the mountain's future, and he is passionate about building a legacy here and bringing the new vision to life. One of the things he is most excited about is getting to see others enjoy the natural beauty of the mountain that he has grown up with all his life.

In his precious free time, Andy enjoys walks in the woods with his dog Darla, playing music, and fixing up his beloved ‘64 Chevelle. While he doesn’t get out on the slopes much anymore, Andy has been skiing ever since the Winter of ‘93 when his family first took ownership of what is now known as Hatley Pointe.
